TENTOMEN is a Climbing hold brand based in Japan. Founded in 2020. Shaped by Gen Hirashima (an international route setter) in a workshop in northern Fukuoka. Manufactured by 360HOLDS in Slovenia. We create holds defined by great usability and designs with a Japanese attention to detail.

TENTOMENは、2020年よりスタートした日本発のクライミングホールドブランド。福岡県北部の丘の上にある工房にて、国際ルートセッターでもある平嶋元を中心にシェイプをおこない、スロベニアの360 HOLDSにて生産。日本らしい細かいところに意識の行き届いたデザインと使用感をテーマに発信していきます。

Raised in a maker environment since childhood and talented at giving shape to ideas. Inspiration comes from many points : forms and figures found in nature, smells, moods, feelings, the sensations transmitted through our five senses. Shortly after his first climb, unable to forget the feeling of the holds in his hands, He dicided to create his own climbing holds one day.

幼少期よりものづくりの環境で育ち、自分の思いを形にすることを学ぶ。自然の形あるもの、匂い、空気感、感触五感から伝わってくるものからインスピーレーションを得る。クライミングを始めて間もない頃のホールドの感触が忘れられず『いつか自分でホールドを作りたい』という想いから、このプロジェクトにいたる。
